If you become involuntarily unemployed and need to claim income insurance benefits within the first 12 months of your membership with Engineers of Sweden, you will be required to provide a certificate from your previous union. Please note that you only need to send this certificate to our insurance provider if you are filing a claim for income insurance benefits.
If you would like to further strengthen your financial security, you can bolster your income insurance with two supplementary insurance policies. These are acquired and paid separately to our insurance provider, Akademikernas Inkomstförsäkring, through Folksam. The fee is determined by salary.
